During Phase 2 of Trinity’s reopening plan, there will be limited ministries for children. We are working hard to develop a creative way that we can offer ministry to children and will update parents when that information is available. Parents are more than welcome to bring their children to church with them during phase 2 . All families are seated together. For more info on Phase 2 see here.
What we are currently offering for families with children:
- A Sunday Packet with coloring materials and activities for children to do. This packet is sanitized weekly for your child’s use
- Family Area- these are designated spaces in the church that will have the livestream playing for parents and have space for children to play and be. You can register for a family room ahead of time by registering for church service. Follow the link on the home page slider and then choose “Family Area” from the dropdown menu in registration.
In the Future…
At Trinity we want to see kids thrive and grow in their knowledge of and love for Jesus so that they can have an impact in their families, schools and beyond. There are many ways for your child to get connected:
Junior Church (for children ages 3 1/2 – entering Grade 1) and is held during the summer.
Nursery – TCC’s Nursery is available (infants thru age 3) during the entirety of our Worship Service. Our paid Nursery Worker provides continuity care for our children and works with our TCC nursery volunteers.
Children’s Choir – Performances at special times throughout the year.
Vacation Bible School- Trinity offers VBS for children preschool age to grade 5 every summer.
We maintain policies to make sure all of our ministries continue to be safe places for children and youth. All leaders and volunteers who work with minors are required to fill out a CORI form. For a copy of the policies or an application contact the TCC office (firstname.lastname@example.org).
