We believe that the Bible is the only inspired, infallible Word of God; that it constitutes the Revelation of God to man concerning Himself and His redemptive work; and that it is the complete and final authority in matters of faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16, John 16:13)
We believe that there is one God, eternally co-existent in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19)
We believe:
- in the Deity of Our Lord Jesus Christ; that he is the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. (John 1:1ff)
- in His virgin birth; His sinless life; His vicarious and atoning death on Calvary; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal return in power and glory. (Matthew 1:18-21. II Corinthians 5:21, I Corinthians 15:4-5, Acts 1:11, Acts 17:31)
We believe:
- in the personality of the Holy Spirit, that He is the Third Person of the Godhead, possessing the same attributes as the Father and the Son. (Acts 5:3-4)
- that He dwells within the body of the believer to impute to him, the finished work of Christ. (John 16:14)
- that His ministry to the world is to convict the unsaved of sin, righteousness and judgment. (John 16:14)
We believe:
- that human beings were created by an act of God, and that they were made in His moral and spiritual attributes in the image of their Creator. (Genesis 2:7, 1:27)
- that through the disobedience of Adam, the entire human race fell into sin and became guilty before God. (Romans 5:12)
- that each person is utterly helpless to save himself, and that only as an individual repents and accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord is that person justified before God. (Romans 3:21 -26)
We believe:
- that the invisible Church, the Body of Christ, is composed of all true believers in the Lord Jesus. (Acts 2:47)
- that the purpose of the Church in the world is to glorify the name of our Savior, and to propagate the gospel of the grace of God. (Acts 1:8, I Peter 2:9, Matthew 28:19 – 20)
- that at the Second Coming of Christ, He shall gather His Church to Himself, evermore to be with Him. (Revelation 19:7)
We believe a visible church is a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible confession of faith, and associated for worship, work and fellowship. We believe that to these visible churches were committed, for perpetual observance, the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and that God has laid upon these churches the task of persuading a lost world to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and to enthrone Him as the Lord and Master.
We believe in the resurrection of all men; the believers unto the resurrection of eternal life and blessedness with the Lord; the unbelievers unto the resurrection of judgment and eternal punishment. (John 5:28-29; II Corinthians 5:10; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; II Thessalonians 1:6-10)
